I tried contacting UBB over a year ago and it seems Sonny has gotten farther than I did. I don't have much spare time to try to rebuild it, but we can figure it out. Let us know what you find out from UBB. It would be nice it we could find some one in Matt's family to talk to. This site is still running on a server somewhere. If we can get access to that we can possibly get it working again.

All that said, my thread has all my pics linked from photobucket. They are holding the embedded pics hostage. I can't pay to have them shown

I keep all my pic. on two computers to keep them safe.I think that photobucket has a low fee for you to use it for posting on a site. pay the low fee and move your pic. back to your putter.

I can re-download them for free, it's just the thread is 30 pages long with hundreds of pics all liked to photobucket. To make it meaningful you need the pics with the text. Too much work to go edit all the posts and link the pics some where else.
The fee for hosting the photos is about $300 a year.... Nope

I am right now in contact and working with Matts sister to get the site.--She and I have to go thru a bunch of hoops and it will take some time, but she is hangin' in there! She say's to be patient as she has a ton of things to go thru with hosting site! --She is a very nice lady!
I have an order set up on ubb and they understand and will work with me in the re-new and upgrade service, keeping the site intact.--Not costly yet,so I push on! You would not believe the hurdles we have been going over! Hey!--no body said it would be easy!--- I am getting excited now!----More as it unfolds! thanks; sonny

Just checking before we donate to Matt's sister for her support or for the new site (or both) who still has access to accept any donations?, the link may go to a site that Matt had control of but now who can access it.

Good job Sonny, and thanks to you Matt's sister, a lot of us have wished the site would come around for a long time.

I am serious about getting this site.I knew it would be a big challenge, but felt it could be done.--I am somewhat familiar with running/maintaining forums.--I learned a lot when Virginia and I helped on the antique farming forum until Artie decided he wanted to drop it and go motorcycle stuff, so the forum vanished!--I am not going to see another forum go without doing some serious pursuing first!
Still climbing hurdles and jumping thru hoops, but making slow progress. thanks; sonny

Sonny: Might check with family to see what "local" archives Matt had. True value of this site would include archives of old site. Might even be able to replicate this site up to time Matt passed away (or his last archive) without having to mess with password busting and such. Just a thought.
