New site new names.. I'm in the process of finally building the back hoe attachment for my tractor. I just ordered the valve from Surplus center and to save a couple hundred bucks I opted to make joysticks instead of buying them because there was a member on the old site that had done it. Don't know if he's here or not but Superfast was his handle there.... his minihoe is still up on YOU TUBE. I did mimic his design and pretty pleased at the outcome so far. trying to get a pic or two of the joystick though so I can get to work on them... Any one here have an old pick or know how to contact Superfast???

These should be clicky for a bigger version.

I made one for my loader valve, I would hope the logic would be similar.

From right

From left

Pull towards operator (lift arms)

Push away (drops arms, returns through the needle checkvalve for a more controlled drop)

Push to the right for dump the bucket

Pull to the left to curl

This is on a Danfoss valve, I hope you can sort of see the theory here, the geometry of the valve determines where the holes in the plate go. I know, clear as mud, right? It was easier to see before I spraybombed it all black...

Jim, try this link
http://www.princehyd.com/Default.aspx?tabid=44

Click on parts manual and a 28 page pdf will come up I just clicked on the parts manual for the first one, LVS model, and scrolled through til I got one of the many pages showing exploded diagrams of the joystick parts.

THanks for the info guys.. Glyford.. I see those pics were just taken thanks for taking the time. exactly what I was looking for. here's my rig a year&1/2 ago unloading a steelmaster building using a set set of forks I made that slip onto the bucket.

I'm going to miss it some once the backhoe is attached. I use it to move stuff a lot and I have a hitch receiver on it. It's connected to the hydraulic cylinder that used to raise & lower the mower deck so I can raise & lower the hitch. allows me to back up to a trailer raise the ball up into the hitch & tote the trailer with out getting off the tractor. that I WILL MISS..Until I come up with a way to run a hitch with the back hoe attached.

Well... Back hoe is attached.. did a operational test to make sure every thing moved ok. My son captured it on his cell phone & I posted it to you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvFxGC0KXdI
Still have a bunch of stuff to do, but at least I know it'll move.

Ahhh but there is a drink holder and if you look close it's loaded... Right side by the loader valve.

Well...I broke the left arm on my FEL showing off the new toy. Minor set back and I was lucky enough to land right side up not on the side. cut corners when I built it 6?? years ago. won't break again. ANY WAY ... fixed that, finished & installed the stab pads, repaired the running boards with some alum diamond plate AND prototype joysticks are on board. My measurements were off a little so they aren't perfect but I have a base to start from that works. Thanks to all for the input. soon as I find a good program to re-size pictures I post more up. I'm looking for the pics I had from when I built the loader. Man that was a pretty machine then.. grin Definitely is due for some NEW PAINT.
