Get a nice stainless salad bowl outta the cabinet and drill a hole big enough to thread in a 1/2 inch pipe nipple. Start adding expensive TEES,NIPPLES and CAPS. You can make this any shape or size you want. Drill some 1/8 inch holes wherever you want, but make them around a inch and a half to two inches apart. You may want to add a valve but I did not because I wanted to make sure that people had to shut it off at the propane tank. Add a 3/8 flare fitting to the underside of the bowl for a piece of 3/8 copper tubing. Bury your line. Connect this to a Harbor Freight $12.99 regulator and hose with another flare fitting. Hook this to a propane tank.
I think you can hook straight into a regulated NG line too.

Fill with some lava rock and light it!!!

This is the start of the table for the fire bowl. Got the top laid out but I need to go buy 100 danged screws...

VERY NICE!!
Looks real good Bob. If it was here though that lattice sure wouldn't stop the mosquitos and black flies.

Little bit of everything white oak, walnut, maple, basswood.
I really hated using that stuff but you can only trip over something for so long before you hand to "find" a project to use it on.
Wish I had mixed them up better, but I do the same thing with Christmas lights....I can fix that later though when it REALLY starts to bug me. Had them just so until I ran them through the planer and got em mixed up.....then forgot to re-arrange them.
