Has anyone had any experience with these:
Hatz
Or these:
punsun

I've had it with my B S engine in my lawn mower. It is sad when we have to turn to foreign companies for reliable machines.

My other alternative would be this:
kawasaki

Though I would really like to get rid of all my gas cans and only use my big diesel tank.

Hatz is German so I don't think you could go wrong with that.

I ran a small vibratory sheeps foot roller powered by Hatz diesel and really liked the little engine!--good power and ran forever on a small tank of fuel! thanks; sonny

I used to do a lot of business with small engine dist. They had engines, seats, tires, trannys etc, etc, low low prices and great service but now the prices have gone up and as Clint said, you need a tax #, that never used to be required for out of state.

Well I got a quote for a hatz diesel a little smaller than the briggs that is on there now. For the price that they want ($4000+) I could get a good used kubota diesel tractor! So now I'm going to research some more on those chinese diesels and see what I can find out.
